Heat update

Due to the extreme heat we’re expecting tomorrow and Friday, we are taking steps to mitigate the impact for our students and staff.

We are keeping our classrooms as cool as possible and relocating classes where necessary to cooler spaces within the school. Students are being kept inside where possible during the hottest part of the day, and there will be no PE activities outside.

If you feel you are better able to keep your child cool at home, parents and carers can give permission for their child to leave school early on Thursday and Friday afternoon. Please see our message on Arbor for more details.

Our schools will remain open and students are able to stay in school until home time. Any students who are collected early will be provided with homework to minimise disruption to their learning.
