Our school librarian Mrs Broadbent, currently the School Library Association's Secondary School Librarian of the Year, took part in an event this week marking the launch of a year-long campaign to highlight and champion school libraries.

The event was hosted by the Dames Commander Society and Bodleian Libraries, and following a keynote speech by legendary children's author Dame Jacqueline Wilson, Mrs Broadbent spoke with School Library Association CEO Victoria Dilly in front of a prestigious audience of publishers, authors, Dames, media figures and sector stakeholders. She shared the impact NIA's school library has on our learners - plus the audience also watched a short video of our learners sharing their thoughts and feelings about the importance of a school library.
